Action: Recovery
As a reminder to the inhuman outrage we collect for an installation of the Hellgate, a new interpretation of Gate of Hell from Auguste Rodin in Bucha (Ukraine)
Why a sculpture for recovery?
Only with the freedom of ART can this inhuman outrage be faced.
We are shocked by the scale of destruction and cruelties.
We are shocked by these dimensions in the year 2022, where humans are apparently enlightened and inhumane lies in our past.
We are shocked that learning from history is forgotten. We cannot comprehend what has happened. For us, it feels like hell.
Yet we are sufficiently far away, but close enough to be human.
We believe the inconceivable can only be made more tangible in art.
Core message.
The private initiative "Hellgate Bucha" is committed to the realization of an epochal monument of European spirit in Bucha (Ukraine) so as firstly to ensure that the horror caused by the events of the war is not forgotten and becomes tangible for all people and secondly so as to ensure that the first cultural stone of a reconstruction rolls.
